Autocross Tires

Anyone scooped up some 200 TW tires and put them to the test yet?? Any recommendations for size? My G82 xdrive should be here next month (hopefully) and I'm sure it'll hunt some cones sooner rather than later. I'd like to get some tires on order soon so I dont end up waiting forever.

Cup2 take way to long to get hot for autox.

Try the r888r , they heat up quickly and are available in oem sizes.

R888R is a 100 TW tire. Can't use in street classes, and as you mention the Cup 2 isn't a preferred tire either. Doesnt seem like many manufacturers make a tire that would work well on this platform yet.

Not many options that meet front to back diameter tolerances for the x-Drive since it's difficult to match 285/30/20 rears. Until more options arrive to market I've been just running the MPS4S star tires and they are actually very impressive with their Cup2 like construction. I ran an autocross type event and just went hard on the first run to get them closer to optimal temp.

I've decided to go with a square set up of the yoke A052 in a 275/35/19 on a 19x10 +20. The A052 may say 275, but the tread width is 10.2 inches, which is an inch wider than the stock P Zeros, and 1.3 inches wider than the stock PS4S up front. Hell, the 285/30 stock rear is only 10 inches wide.

Anyone know of a reason why this wouldn't work??

How was your experience with 275 a052 squared?
I just received 4 of them and I am not sure whether to run them squared on stock 9.5Jx19 wheels (I have 4 of them) or just combine it with cup2 285/30 20 in the rear. Trackdays and amateur races.
