OEM G83 additional rear bracing retrofit on other G8x models

Has anyone considered adding in M4 conv additional rear braces to M3 saloon/sedan or touring/wagon or M4 coupe ?

From the link below are the V brace (item #6 with part no 33328746035) and extra cross brace (item # 7 with part no 33329882335) retrofittable ?

Did you ever end up trying this out? I remember this being a fairly popular mod on the E92 using the E93 vert and/or E91 wagon bracing. I might have to try it out just not sure If we have the same mounting locations on the G80? Hopefully someone releases a rear strut bar I have always had decent results with them in the past.

No not yet.

Items #1 and #2 are common to all G8x models RWD and AWD.

It looks to me like the cross brace #7 bolts to rear subframe and rear s/frame is also common across all G8x cars as far as I can tell. Hence retrofit on a G8x saloon/coupe looks feasible

Okay that makes sense looking at the list of cars each part fits. So which bolts would you need to install both # 6 & 7? It looks like you would need 2 of the #5's that will bolt # 6 to each stiffening plate and then a #8 bolt to connect 6 & 7 together. I don't see anything mentioned on how the #7 bolts to the subframe? Looks like it has 4 mounting holes

I just ordered the CSL engine & trans mounts and front monoballs so I'd love to have the shop throw these on as well while its there.

Nope never ordered them as per my last post I'm not sure how the #7 bar bolts onto the sub frame. I don't see any details on the BMW diagram and I'm not sure we have the mounting points. Maybe I'll mess around with it one day and blind order but if it doesn't work out they will just be expensive paper weights.
