G80 H&R Sport Springs or Super Sport?

Has anybody tried both H&R Sport and Super Sport Springs on their car?
I'm going to be running a 10mm/15mm Spacer setup (PZeros) and Am torn between the two .. Is the Super Sport still daily friendly, where you don't have to take aggressive angles around town & does anyone have pics?

I plan on adding a lip to the car so that's why the .2" drop in the front may be concerning but I wanted to drop the rear more than .40".. Feedback is much appreciated.

I have the super sports sitting in my garage and waiting on my 15 all around spacers before installing. I’m on Michelins but will update you once installed.

If you are used to lowering cars, get the super sport, it looks better.

If this is your first time, start with the Sport

I have the sports and honestly kind of regret not doing the super sports. Rear is fine, just wish the front was a tad lower.

The sports have a good drop and it looks clean, and I would consider this a daily driving friendly drop with a lip.

But like Mike said above, I am used to lowering cars and prefer a slightly lower front, even if it means I have to be more cautious around town

Here is a side pic of the sports, maybe I'm just being picky. But certain angles, certain days, I wish it was a little lower LOL

I am also thinking about lowering with H&R Sports on a new 2023 due here in June. However, I live in Houston and am concerned with always being paranoid about speed bumps and crummy roads. Is there a height on the HAR that gives you good clearance but also gets rid of most of the gap? Was quoted $1200 installed out the door.

That looks really good.

Hard to tell just how much lower Super Sports are. And how they compare to ASTs.

Anyone have experience with ASTs and Super Sports? (Or Sports).

I had Swifts on one of my F80s and will never go down a path like that again. Junk.

H&R Super Sports on my 2023 XDrive. Very happy with stance and ride quality.

I have always loved Swifts, what did you not like?

I was actually hoping they ended up making springs for this car at some point.

For one, they were unbelievably crashy, but the worst part were the oscillations at speed. If you were on the highway and contacted something mid corner like an expansion joint or pavement change, the rebound would make the rear feel completely unstable. It honestly felt like the car would come up like a crooked pogo stick and the rear would recompress one foot outside its track.

Talked to many others on forum and some shared the same sentiment. The Swifts didn't last long before I ditched them for B16 Damptronics and those solved all issues (and the ride quality was far better). My buddy had EMD springs and his car was night and day. Wish I did EMD from the start.

Do not want to go down that road with my G80. Currently leaning toward H&R Super Sports as the ASTs seem to sit a bit low in the rear for my taste (in some install shots).

Wow, so weird I had the exact opposite impressions, however I did not have them on my f82 so it could have been an upgrade for me over the oem springs on my 5.0, 370z, and Evo X back in the day.

I am still deciding myself what route to go on this car.

except the looks, lowering spring does nothing to improve the performance. not sure why someone still trying to hard sell lowering spring here and there.
if you want good looking go for it. but performance wise. it's better to stick with OEM.

Interesting. The more I read about lowering options here the deeper it goes…it’s a never ending cycle.

I am currently trying to get MPHAS installed at port as my car is scheduled to arrive in 5 days. That may be the best option.

H&R Sports Installed. Really help my Edelweiss Frozen Gold LT3 stand out all that more. The car looks and honestly feels better with these springs in.

I have the M Performance Lip on mine along with Sliplo on the underside. So far no issues, but I am being careful.

My only concern is I have 4 small speed bumps in my hood. I always used just sports in the past and had no issues.
I purchased 15mm x4 might have to go 12mm in rear!!!
