Rubbing with pirelli's and spacers

Anyone else figure out a way to get rid of the rubbing at full lock in reverse? I expected it with running 15mm front with pirelli's, so I shaved off half of the 3 fins that everyone says needs to be modified and it still rubs on both sides on full lock reverse. The fitment is exactly what I wanted, but it's annoying when reversing out of a parking spot. Pics of the car lowered on ast springs and bms 15mm spacers front, and 13mm back. Also pics of the cut fins.

i had the same issue with 13mm spacers and Michelin. I had to go back to 10mm spacers to resolve it.

Best way is to have a buddy to drive the car while you are keeping an eye to see where it still rub.
From there, shave it where it rubs.

This has been documented in SEVERAL threads. P0's are fat and they rub with spacers. End of story.

I'm running 18mm with Pirellis. After cutting the fins in the pic below, noise was gone.

I didn't fully cut them off, so maybe I'll try that. I figured if I shaved them down half way it was better then nothing to have some protection of rocks and such coming up and hitting those coolers.

Have you tried heating up and pushed back this part? This could also be an area that rubs.

I have 15mm with pzero up front with zero rubbing. It depends on how low your car is. Not everyone is at the same height. It might still be rubbing the upper one. Trim those down and go from there. Also turn your wheel full lock and see where the closest contact point is.

You also did not shave it all across, try that.

Pretty interesting way to increase clearance. Starts at 6 minutes 50 seconds.
Heat first, cut/shave later?

I'm going to wait for the weekend to have a friend reverse to see where it's rubbing. If it's that spot I'll try to heat it up and push that piece in.

Well if it matters it seems like the folks at iND are reading our minds. If you don't want to cut fins and have cash to blow.

Dang those would be perfect, but i can't justify 900 bucks on fender liners lol. I wonder how much oem liners are, would maybe like to try and modify myself

From the looks of the part diagram you're looking for parts 51718070503 and 51718070504 respectively. MSRP is under $100 a piece.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but installing some springs and spacers next week and wanted to see if you had found your rubbing point. Have PZeros as well.

Man if these were ~$400 or so I’d be down. Almost a G is real steep.

I got the Pirellis as well. What springs are you going with?

Im thinking about just getting 11mm all around and going from there.

I have the MSS spring kit. Took it off my 2022 so everything is settled. I had the PS4S on that car but didn't get them this time around. I had 15 and 12 mm spacers for that car and was really hoping I can use them again here. If I have to modify the fender liners so be it. Rather do that than have to buy all new spacers. Just need to know what I need modify at this point. Was going to shave down all three columns of the fins. Hoping I don't have to remove them completely but sounds like I may have to if I want to prevent rubbing. Wanted to make sure there weren't other rubbing points to consider too.

I'm getting it soon; the car will look much better with the bigger spacers in the front.

You have MSS springs, or the MSS adjustable kit?

12mm will rub with Pirellis?

Also, is there more likelihood of rubbing with a G80 or G82 and does xDrive add to that further? - Anyone can answer this one and chime in
