First paint chip

So I've got my first paint chip. It's really small but I notice it. Before everyone starts lecturing me about PPF I'm just wondering if anyone has a great tried and true process for touch-ups that doesn't look worse than doing nothing? Thanks!

Dr colorchip. It won't look perfect but it's easy to use and it will make it more tolerable to look at

It depends on where the chip is located, I used BMW touch-up paint on my front bumper and then had PPF put on the car and it is hard to see. Needless to say, a chip on other parts of the car like the hood might stand out.

Has it actually gone through the paint? I had one on my door, it looks awful, but I had my detailer flat and polish it, you’d struggle to notice it now.

The first chip is liberating.

Now you can stop wasting precious time worrying and drive more.

Apply your touch up paint with a toothpick, only the amount that will sit on the sharp end.
More than that and it will run down as a drip.
Use a hair dryer in between coats, 3-4 coats and let that dry for 15-20 mins before applying the clear.

Suggestions on where to get touch up paint?

Any suggestions on touch up (dealer?).... ?

My 2023 x5 eDrive mineral white metallic - got it first tiny chip on front of hood.

I am used to getting those little bottles with the tiny brush, etc. Seems to work ok with toothpick, etc.

Thanks
