Build Week 38 - MY '24

I think i need someone to lock me out of the forum and bmw mygarage to keep me from refreshing so much. The anticipation is killing me lol.

Is anyone buying any carbon fiber trim add-ons or other accessories? I just bought mirrors, grille, a diffuser, skirts, etc! Looking at picking a set of all seasons since by the time I'll get this it'll probably be snowing in my area!

I already have a Turner Motorsports front skid plate, M3 Competition sills, Eibach front springs and spacers. Plan on getting R 44 gloss black air intakes and some aftermarket brake pads (EBC or iSweep). That should be it for a while. Oh, and the M3 Competition center console piece that BMW deleted will be going in. And the IND painted front reflectors.

Yeah that’s it. Lol. So bad. But compared to most, not bad.

I’m not getting any exterior carbon. Roof will be my only exterior carbon. I like the gloss black look with my Aventurine Red. I will be PPFing all the glossy black parts except the grille.

Planning on front lip, csl style grille and rear wing first. Really like GTC-300 67 inch wing but on their website it says it only supports f82. Though I did see some posts and pics of that installed on g82.

Yeah, I already have some parts from my last G80. But I’ll install the CF mirror Caps, CF Side grille, M3 CS front grille, CF rear spoiler, Carbon Antenna, CF diffuser, Alcantara armrest/Kneepads, CF exhaust tips, LED Door Projector lights, Floating wheel caps and idk about the CF front splitter and inlets they got damage pretty quickly on my 23 M3 they had lots of rock chips, if you drive in PA highway especially I78 you know about those damn rock chips especially if you receive one from a truck lol horrible!

great choices! Yeah i just ordered that little console piece too today, lol. Thanks for reminding me on getting the paint matched reflectors. Those not matching on my car would drive me insane lol. Going to order those now

Where'd you pick up the armrest and the doorsills at? Thinking about adding those to mine too.

Yeah I am a bit worried with all the rock chips. Going to be doing ppf on full front bumper though, so should help with that..a bit

I usually get my parts from bmwpartscenter.com, they have great competitive pricing. Lol good luck I had ppf all over my car and it still did damage, it all depends on the road you’re driving on. This time I’m not spending my money on ppf.

I was originally 9/18 then went to 9/19, 9/20, and now back to 9/18. It’s so weird but I’m excited. Hopefully, I get it on Oct or Nov. Last year it was horrible driving home with snow and salt from picking up my 23 M3CX in Dec. But this time I'm taking my continental AS, they’re amazing tires!

I have multiple friends and coworkers that had production week 39, 40, & 42, and they all got bumped 2-4 weeks, idk if it’s because of buckets or carbon exterior package. I removed the carbon exterior package because it was a delay on them and plus I already have the CF parts only needed the inlets and it didn’t feel like 4,700 was worth it just get inlets so I removed them and got bumped up back to week 38 from week 41.

Got it. I've been at week 38 a while since I changed interior colors. Haven't moved at all.

Full Ivory. It was individual so it pushed me back from week 29 to week 38 since I was already at 112 status when I came across the allocation.

But since moving to week 38 been steady on. Keeping fingers crossed. I think this was the universe telling me not to get my hopes up about making the September 26th ship to Galveston.

Yeah, we probably make the October vessels if we’re lucky! And that’s a great color but I went with Silverstone/black full leather they look awesome on the bucket seats!

Yeah, I prefer the lack of black centers plus I think the ivory goes better with the Aventurin. Otherwise I would have had my car about a week ago if not earlier.

Here I am, on the forums again, living through all the week 28-30 people who are getting their cars and refreshing mygarage page as if its going to change, lol. I think I need to find a new hobby for the meantime.

How many days before your production date do you see movement? I'm at 9/22 date, Praying I get bumped up
