i doubt it, the 6MT is software limited to run less boost than the comp but they are otherwise the same, with the JB4 you are bypassing those limits, the max power that is obtainable should be the same on both models. Differences in times at that point should come down to gearing and shift speed.

Ya it’s gonna be at least a year which I don’t mind as it’s fast enough but more want the downpipes as I need this car louder

What do you guys think of this instead of JB4 ?
https://www.racechip.us/shop/bmw/x3-...-442lb-ft.html I am familiar with JB4 from my N54 years, just thinking about the simplest solution, IRC JB4 is a harder install that need a bit more work to remove for dealer visits.

I have a few specific questions related to my 2021 X3M that I am hoping folks on this forum can answer. Limited activity/success on the X3 forum.
1. Can someone confirm that if I install a downpipe, I can go into the JB4 desktop-based program and adjust the setting to clear CEL's? A link would be appreciated. 2. For 93 octane, are folks running anything other than Map 1? Map 1 feels nice, but nowhere near the power bump you'd expect from a flash tune (or even the JB4 map 1 on my old F80) 3. Would a straight midpipe (no cats/resonator) enable you to run other maps? Thanks |
