Gave it another attempt on jacks and jack stands, and was able to just barely get it on enough to where there is no exhaust leak. The midpipe exhaust hanger bolt would still not reach the mounting point so I got sick of it and drilled a hole so that it would hold at an angle. It was too close to make an adapter plate out of metal but too far to make it fit where it was supposed to go. So I mounted it crooked.
Worked my way through the v-split pipe and the single pipes with exhaust hangers. Then I attempted to install the valve actuators onto the rear muffler section. Turns out the rotation of the springs do not match up either. I'm really tired of having to make things fit and figure things out when I pay for a full kit that was on a 6 week pre-order. All I'm asking for is fitment |

I was told to heat the spring up and bend it. I feel like I'm part of their r&d or quality control team at this point. And not a word of assisting to pay or replace any of these parts that have been shown not fitting.

Yea, I think I should have gone with default open rather than auto. I am guessing there is no way to change that other than getting a new controller? I also saw a video with someone on their f82 opening and closing their valves with this before starting their car. Not sure how they did it.

You'll need to send it back to CG to reprogram it.

Hello.
Sorry for resurrecting this thread. So I had to go for my first service. Took my vt midpipe off. Not an easy job. But finally did it. Took a few hours and a lot of wd40. Went back to stock as the remus was already sold. So I was a bit nervous about putting this back on because of previous hardships. And after hours and hours of trying and trying every angle, the damn thing won't sit flush. I really don't want to drive four hours to the shop that put it back on last time. And this thing would happen again. Should I contact valvetronic and request another front section or buy it from them. Do you think I have a valid argument to request a replacement? |

So you got rid of the Remus? I know you weren't sure on it. Are you gonna try something else? |

I am really looking for a replacement. But I will go for downpipes first before going foe an axleback. Vt midpipe is going to stay. To be honest, the mpe is so ridiculous looking that I am likely going to end up buying it provided it gets the best out of the vt midpipe (the stock muffler does, for some reason). There is also a local brand in the UK, scorpion exhaust, cheaper than remus and provided it compliments the vt midpipe, it's also a viable (cheaper) option. |

Are you aware that they posted that they had a jig issue and had to realign it? I think they were asking to get replies on people with issues. Apparently some batches got sent out wrong. Also they have added a flex joint. This is really just a pipe though, and any muffler shop can cut and move any part of it unless you have the titanium version.

Can you get the VT titanium cat back with black tips to cover the natural blue tint? The tips they have now looks tacky.

Mike do you know if valvetronic is helping out the people that were affected by the fitment issues? My friend sent them pictures but nothing so far.
