BMW G80 M3 Competition Genuine M Performance Carbon Fibre Side Skirt, Steering wheel
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Just got the car for few days and really can't wait to mod it for a bit. Wanting to upgrade the car bit by bit so this time only two parts was modded using Genuine parts. M Performance Carbon Fibre Side Skirts and M Performance Alcantara Steering wheel for now. The whole side skirt assembly has to be detached from the car first then the original gloss black skirts can be removed to put the new ones on. Only new BMW plastic rivets were needed for the installation, no extra screws needed. |

The steering wheels looks pretty good. I like the side skirts too but I'm curious if they catch and hold a bunch of debris on the rear bit. Nice car and I love the color.

Car looks great.
The whole side skirt assembly does not need to be removed to swap for the CF side blades. I just removed the rivets and then popped out the gloss black side skirts. They are only held in with the tabs after removing the rivets.

I think my kids would break that side skirt. Back door looks like a running board

Love the mods - out of interest, what's the part number for the steering wheel? (kind of glad I didn't go for the heated steering wheel option now! )

Oh man, I didn't even think about that. It's also too cold here to lose the wheel heating. I bet the alcantara doesn't get as cold as leather though.

Sorry, I think the oem steering wheel is much nicer. Alcantara doesn't wear worth a crap and is hard to clean. The running boards look like they should be on a suv or minivan. Sorry not hating, the car itself is beautiful.

Carbon side skirts look way better than the horrid black ones. Steering wheel nice improvement too. Good couple of mods.

End of 2021 Car Update
Last update to wrap up 2021 for this car.
- EURSPEC Dry Carbon Fibre Rear Apron - Genuine M Performance Carbon Fibre Fender Trim - Genuine M Performance Carbon Fibre Mirror Cover - Genuine M Performance Carbon Fibre Rear Spoiler Really satisfied with the quality of the Eurspec rear aprons, finishing was nice, fitment was no issue as well. Fender trim was the easiest to do among these upgrade parts, only took around less than 10 mins for both sides, just need to be careful not to scratch the car when removing the old trim. |

Nice mods and great looking car.
I'm debating the side skirts here but the but the angled tips are just not my style. I know BMW made them highly functional for performance but I'd prefer something more horizontal than vertical as most of us wont be driving fast enough where the performance actually matters. But that carbonfiber is fire tho.

Good point. My boys would probably try to surf on it. That said I wish bmw sold a CF side skirt that was an exact match for the stock one. Imo they should have had this from the factory in the carbon exterior package to match the Giulia Qv. The glossy black plastic one the car comes with is trash and shouldn't be anywhere near this car.
