I am still a potential buyer, because 5 seats and a manual, but I would prefer the G20 front end and I will definitely shop the new Blackwings as a surprise competitor with 6MT as well. I would take these grilles over automatic only, so I do not want to complain too much, but the look is a headscratcher to me.

The darker colors really make a difference if you do not like the grilles, still waiting to see Tanzanite, Davit, and the 18/19" wheels. On the configurator they look pretty good.

The grille is hideous. That isn't something new. So moving on.

New colors always look good, it's simply the gleam of something being new. The color choices themselves are subpar for the most part. No classic silverstone? No Imola Red?

Furthermore, the design isn't cohesive or "BMW". Separately and on other vehicles, the side looks good. The front is acceptable. The rear is quite nice. As a package deal badged as a BMW, it's a "NO" across the board. Plus, it's huge.
As for the interior, the quality is clearly better, but the ergonomics is worse and, dare I say, copy cat of Mercedes/Audi to an extent in respect to certain aspects.

My two cents.

Absolutely thought by now I'd come to appreciate or at least live with the grille, but every time I see it, I can't help but think how much better the front end would look if the G20 grille had carried over.

In the new Schmee video there are two IoMG cars, one base and one comp. They are next to each other and the only discernable difference is the color of the badge. Like I said in my thread a few weeks ago, we will be able to differentiate 6MT cars from a mile away thanks to the silver badge.

I like both the purple & green. First mod - colour code the black strip that runs around the base of the car which looks rubbish imo. Or you could just buy a black car I guess.
