Got my e92 in 2008. 61k sticker with just premium pack and 19" forged rims discounted to 56k I thought was a relative bargain.

Two questions: Is blind spot detection in any of these packages? (Soft spousal requirement).

No interest in the ceramic brakes? Pricey I know, but is there an unsprung weight savings?

I don't see it either, I see a DA PRO package but not the basic DA package that normally has BSM and it's not part of the Exec package here either nor does it show as standard.

You're going back two decades?!? Nothing is that cheap anymore. The non-comp/comp versions of this new car are more or less at the same price point as the F8X.

Wish HUD was a separate option.
What is the individual shadow line lights?

You have been very disciplined on your build. I'm at $88K and that is crazy'

Active Driving Assistant (5AS) is now standard and includes Blind Spot Detection, Lane Departure Warning, Frontal Collision Warning, Pedestrian Warning with Braking, City Collision Mitigation with braking and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

I seem to be at $96k + destination. Disappointing since a similar build on the Canadian Configurator came to $113k CAD ~ $85k USD
https://configure.bmw.ca/en_CA/configid/d8k9b7t9

I knew it was too good to be true.

Good question.

Frozen Orange, Frozen Dark Gray, and Frozen Black are available in Canada but not in the US. I think there might have been similar discrepancies between the two countries for the F8x M3/M4. I thought they'd rectify that this time around, but so far the US only gets Frozen Brilliant White and Frozen Portimao Blue.

Interestingly, the three absent frozen colors have options codes beginning with Z instead of X. They are also listed in the "Options" section instead of the "Metallic" exterior color section in the Canadian Pricing Guide. It's not clear how/why these three are "special" compared to the other two.

Since 2000, there has been 54% inflation. $50,000 in 2000, in August, 2020 dollars (last available data from the Dept. of Labor) is $77,000...

Pricing is consistent, if not slightly down.................................

Back in 1980 cars came with a manual gearbox and rear wheel drive.
They forced you to drive a manual. The agony, as I did not drive.

sucks that the executive package is $3,000 for crap now.

Normally it would be around $2500 and have $2000 worth of stuff I actually wanted, so extra $500 for crap i didn't care about was okay.

Now there is literally 2 items I want, heated steering wheel and HUD which should cost $1,200 combined. Can't get them on their own either, so I have to buy $1800 worth of crap I don't care about or use (and won't help resale value either) to get them... Most expensive HUD and heated wheel ever.

2000 M3 base price: $46,045

Do you know what that translates into in 2020? Adjusted for inflation that's $69,500

2021 M3 base price: $69,900

I'd say pricing is still very much where it was 20 years ago.

Are the G80/2 Munich/Regensburg/Germany production to start, full run, etc? Or are they, or will they be shifted to, Mexico production?

Same here, but for those that wanted laser lights, it's a bargain.

Like the power trunk option. It's nice to have and I'd like to have it, but I probably wouldn't have paid for it given the choice.

I'm @ $87,705 with destination/shipping. I'll be at ~$85k with the base model but probably close to $90k with M Performance Parts port installed. I am getting everything except carbon ceramics.

I heard somewhere it will be $3200 or $3400, but it's not out until July 2021 for MY2022, so it won't be in this pricing guide.
