anyone have this happen after the break in or any service?

took a while but finally got my 1200 mile service done (4 months, no driving in winter).

on my way home I thought it was an old SUV next to me that I was smelling but once in my garage I realized it was my M3.

want to describe it like a burning smell (not tire burning), havent called dealership yet (really dont want to drive another 40 minutes back to dealer).

looking at paperwork they did
-break in service
-set oil filter
-hypoid axle oil and screw plus with o-ring for front/back

also amazing it would have cost $550 for this if BMW didn't cover it.

First service is engine and diff oil only, that is pretty well known. They probably spilled a little bit of oil which then burns off and smells a bit.
