I got OBD link CX
No issues. Pretty fast. Use my iPad in airplane mode to code.

You have to put G8x platform in the Accessory mode by pushing the start button three times

Then it is self-explanatory

I bought this Veepeak Bluetooth adapter. Price seems to be jacked up. I paid $40 and it seems to have gone up. Maybe you can get it else where

No cables…leave it in the glove box. Works perfect with my iPhone

No using BimmerCode doesn't count as a ECU tune. It touches different modules.

I was not able to get into the menu with safety controls with my USB bimmercode unit. I could get into other settings (e.g. heated seats, etc). I do want to code out the seat belt reminder, do I need to get a new bimmercode unit?

Anyone with a recent ‘22 able to code out Active Sound Design? I don’t see it as a standalone option when I pick 3 series/M3 or X3M, I see it under Receiver Audio Module but I can’t code it out there either.

Wondering if there was a change…

I’m guessing you meant heard no difference.

I sent off an email to Bimmercode support to see if they have any info on the ‘22 cars and Active Sound Design. I didn’t notice the sound when driving the car but I just got it Saturday night and haven’t driven it much yet.

I got a response from Bimmercode. There will be an app update that fixes the issue. They didn’t give me any more information than that but I’m thinking it could be an issue with the 2022 model year cars.

And what relates to the speakers they are like humans - the less work the do at the same moment the better they do what they do
So music + active sound must be worse than without, since the same speakers are involved.

BTW B&O coding definitely makes the sound much better!!!

I love that you can code in the mirror to still go up in automatic when the door is open, it has always been such an inconvenience.
