Does anyone make a screen protector for the iDrive 8 screen?

We have a matte protector on my wife's Tesla model Y that cuts down on glare and fingerprints. Was hoping to do the same for the m3 once it comes in.

I reached out to Screen protech to see if they have one for the new idrive. It seems they have one for the I4 models already which I believe are the same dimensions as MY23 G80's.

It's been discussed. It can be either matte or not, but the matte version interferes with the eye-watcher for the Driving Assistance Professional stuff (auto driving, traffic jam assist). It also creates more glare than the screen's coating takes away, so I don't think it's worth it.

Oh ok then that makes my decision. I was looking into matte mainly bc my friend has a Tesla and the screen protector he has feels great and you would never see the fingerprints and stuff. But I see your point with the eye tracking bc I did get ZDY

I had Xpel stealth put on my screen when I did the cars PPF. Not sure how much someone would charge you to do it. Takes 1 minute to do.

These are awful in the sunlight. You'll get an idea when the top is down and the sun is behind you. It doesn't reflect at a point, it spreads the entire reflection across the whole protector.

The screen already has an anti-glare coating on it, so this is completely unnecessary.

Also, as explained before, these interfere with ZDY so if you have that, the camera won't be able to see your face and complain when you turn the system on.
