Garage List
How's the install difficulty on the cat back? Usually I'd have a shop do the install, but I'm in a rural area and the nearest that will do it is 2.5 hours away. I DO have access to a lift/tools, which I'm guessing will make this pretty straightforward.

For those that have done the install themselves, do you have any tips/things to watch out for?

Honestly it’s quite easy, but that is from our perspective. it takes us roughly 45 minutes to install one of these setups at our shop. You can absolutely do this in your garage but be patient. Make sure you have some friends and beers 🍻

It's an easy install; if this is your first time and you do the install at home, it will take 1-2 hours.

If it's an experienced mechanic with a lift, it'll take less than an hour.

Is there a sound difference between the stainless or titanium midpipe? Or is the only time a sound difference happens is with the full exhaust. I have the MPE and would like to pair a midpipe with it.

You definitely see a sound change in the midpipe. Titanium does give a more enjoyable experience in our opinion. Not to mention the weight savings and the ability to combine it with the titanium MPE. That will be a great setup!

Can you define “more enjoyable”? is the titanium louder than the stainless model
? Different pitch or tone ?

Its not louder but it is a more exotic sound. The titanium resonates more especially on a 6 cylinder application. Hard to go wrong with either but the titanium is extremely unique.

Has anyone gone from a Mid/DP only to a full CBE (need axle back). I think it eliminates some of the rasp and my thinking is that you're keeping all the exhaust diameter the same for the most part.

Adding an axle back to this setup (Mid/DP) sounds awesome but won't help eliminate the rasp, if anything it will increase as you are going to a more aggressive setup.

To eliminate the rasp, i recommend upgrading the axle back but also switching to catted downpipes.

To those who have experienced the V1 single mid and and the new equal length mid, is there a substantially noticeable sound difference between the two to justify the upgrade?

Also saw that VT includes an extended chassis brace with the updated system, would be nice if they would supply the brace to previous owners with the V1 system as AA did with their braces. Not a fan of using washers as spacers on an expensive exhaust system.
