Nice looking and they sound great no doubt, but they are heavy and in my experience should not present an issue performance wise for “any” of the current ///M vehicles. Off-road capability being the possible exception

2018 Mustang 5.0. I believe he was stock. 1st run, 40 roll 2nd gear walked him. Second run 60 roll 3rd gear same result! I have a G80 Base!

Ran into a GT350 on Mexico highway late at night.
I think it was R as it had the bigger wing, I believe a red badge and was insanely loud- in a good way
From a 40-60 roll it was very close. But I could catch up and pull ahead when he got the jump.
I hit the stupid vmax a couple times but he had backed off by then.
I was also low on fuel and was just waiting for reduced power but luckily it didn't happen.
We both exited and had a quick conversation at a light expressing mutual admiration of each other's cars.
He was surprised by the overall ability of the M3.
I told him that if I could have fit comfortably I'd have a GT350.
So far one of my best experiences and more prof that the G80 is a monster.

Yeah, the GT350 is a special car and I'd love to have one.
Had a chance to track one for a handful of laps and it was great. Trouble was due to my size-think mid-sized gorilla-my head without the helmet was right at the roof with the seats at the lowest position possible. With a helmet even leaning back gangster style I had to tilt my head. Many of fords performance cars with Recaros have this seating issue for me. Always feels like you're sitting on top of the car.

Anyway, it was a blast and went on for many miles. Went through 1/2 a tank of gas in what seemed like minutes.

Ghibli. So a Chrysler. He had his gf in the car. Not sure why people in slower cars try to race M3/M4's...

Pulled about 1/2 a train length on him. And I'm talking about one of those giant trains that go through the midwest. So about 1/8 of a mile lol

Driving a Ghibli indicates a lack of judgement, so I guess that's consistent, right?

I've run with those on the track, absolutely stunning performance.

Ditto running with one of those on the track, I was quite surprised how well it did (base car, not Z51 AFAIK) although he was on slicks and I was on street rubber. And a part of his front splitter kind of broke off from hitting debris.

I don't street race any more, largely because of that famous YouTube video of the two Corvettes racing, one loses control on an upshift and smacks into the other one.

And it's illegal.

But mostly because most people turn off their traction control and can't handle oversteer. You guys be careful out there!

I had a fun encounter with possibly the ugliest ride since the Pontiac Aztec-

Rolled up on said Model Y at a stop light with zero intention of having fun. Tangent- One of the problems of these EV platforms & enthusiasts, you can't hear any audible rev / flex to get your attention!

Anyway, I have no idea which powertrain/battery pack he had, but guy looks to be near 100% off line and luckily I was in my default M2, ready to rip setting. I've grown to love launch control and quickly caught his tale close to ~50mph. I realize he had lifted, but the look on his face was one I wont forget for a while. I truly don't think he expected me to be anywhere close- and paired with my dual res and x pipe mid section, all that was heard on that country road was this guy. I am coming to realize how important the audible sensation is for me.

Being in Mexico, we took it close to governed speed limitation on my side. and I'll tell you what- this car continues to put the largest smile on my face. So stable, approachable, and utilizable for this extremely novice enthusiast that I am.

And after nearly a year, 45-year-old Roy Bowden and 24-year-old Brian Hebert were indicted by a grand jury of third-degree felony racing on highway causing bodily injury just last week. They face a punishment of 2-10 years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines. Seems awfully harsh for a traffic light race, but because Hebert was driving on a suspended license and Bowden complained about an arm injury, plus the amount of drivers/pedestrians in the video, no quarter was given. Still… we’ve heard of drunk driving sentences much, much lower.

You'd think that owning a plastic Chevy would be punishment enough.

(full disclaimer: I used to own one. Two. Maybe three. OK, five. But I was young and foolish)

Drove 6 miles to a store last night, and in that time I had one audi and one charger pull up next to me on the freeway. I need a sign that says "Break-in service not completed"...

That's a really harsh punishment, I wouldn't be surprised if they said all the wrong things in court and pissed off the judge

Raced a Ford GT350 last night.

highway pull from 60
Pretty dead even until the top of 3rd gear, where I walked it about a car length

Eased off and gave each other a thumbs up. Still loving how this car has that linear pull after 5k!
