Thanks for the replies everyone. I am wondering - what is the practical use to the X/H pipe versus running straight pipes through the 1st and 2nd resonator deletes? Anyone have good experience purchasing a pre-made dual resonator delete-X pipe replacement?

The res delete has been awesome, don't get me wrong, I just want more after having it this way for a year.
Did you run straight pipes or add an x-pipe at the 2nd resonator? How did it sound it in efficient mode versus stock?

Straight pipes all the way, and it is still very quiet in efficient.

Although it talks about a V8 setup, you get the idea.
I'd put an x-pipe on the stock location (2nd resonator).

Much appreciated. Is that what you're running?

No, not yet.
I'm trying to find a place where they'll do a neat job custom welding the x pipes & straight pipes.

Nice. How's granny driving mode (comfort all around, closed valves, etc.) sound versus stock? Ideally I'd have that sound but open valves/Sport+ all around sound much louder. I'm guessing no drone up top with yours?

Zero drone ever

Unbelievably quite in efficient or otherwise tame modes

Louder and with actual burbles etc when in sport modes.

I didn't care to cut out my resonators as I plan to swap out the exhaust at some point and down the road, even look into swapping out the gearbox for the manual tranny. This car is going nowhere, especially since I work from home so keep miles low, and with the LCI I just prefer I drive 7 than 8 and those big screens.

Just worth mentioning as some like to be able ti not cut and put parts back, I obviously didn't care, but a word of caution

Thinking of a double resonator delete and running straight pipes in that section. Something like this -
. But people are suggesting an x-pipe in place of the second resonator?
I was watching the kies Motorsport dahler exhaust video and they replaced the resonator with clamp down pipes. If possible I'd like to buy the hardware and do it myself. Anyone know what size pipe our stock exhaust system is??

You don't need them for smog. The o2 sensor is on the downpipes.

The secondary cats just act as an additional filter from the main cats. It catches anything not processed on the main ones, especially during a cold start.
