Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Makes for a good read - ride and handling section particularly interesting.

Guy dedicates a few paragraphs to “turbo lag” and yet he doesn’t know what turbo lag is and uses it to describe how lazy the car is under certain RPM.
Not sure what to take from someone trying to drive a car and explain how it drives it they don’t fully comprehend how the engine works… |

Not to mention cars like a GT3 have no low end torque that never truly hits boost, just builds gradually up from low torque to some amount of horsepower. Love me some NA but some of these guys need to lay off the turbo lag thing until they have driven a car with real turbo lag, like a 911 turbo from the 80s. |

My M4 has no discernible turbo lag.
I can’t imagine a “more” tuned engine having turbo lag. |

Thanks for sharing mate
There is only one simple and undeniable fact with the M4CSL: you either got it, or you didn't - here's to those thousand who did 👏👏👏

Took another drive today, up to 388 miles. I wouldn't get hung up on reviews, unless you think it will impact the car's value. But honestly, these cars tend to depreciate anyways (M5 CSs have started to). The car is fantastic to drive even on PS4s, and quite a monster.
I view it more of a recipe akin to the CLK63/C63 AMG black, Jaguar Project 8, and Alfa GTAm (ie slushbox, RWD torque monsters). We either don't get those cars in the US or get them compromised (CLK63 black without buckets, C63 black with sunroof only, Jaguar project 8 with sunroof only, Alfa not at all). Really enjoying it, not sure I'd prefer another car than it at the moment. I'd like to drive an M5 CS back to back with it to be sure. |

Good read relative to what’s out there. TH has the best vid on it. More comprehensive than what some of the journalists are all kind of saying.
