19" squared OEMs for track duty?

Hi all,
I found a really nicely priced set of pristine 19/20 OEM 926Ms that I'm going to pick up as a set of spare wheels.

My question is: would running the 19's in a square setup be a good trackday solution with some cup 2r's or similar on them? I'd run the 20's with PS4s for street duty, which looks to have worked out for others, but have not been able to find anyone thats running the OEM 19's on all 4 corners for trackdays. Winter setup yeah, but nothing performance/track oriented. Any info apprecited, thanks.

You can run 19s on all four corners. 285/35/19 is a common rotatable setup. Re71s and a few others. I don’t recommend cup2s. They’re overpriced, sticky for a few laps, and drop off fast. And there are faster tires for less money.

You can also run 305/30/19 with some modifications to your suspension. Then you can run super car 3rs. They’re $379 a tire on Amazon and they are excellent tires.

Thanks, I've seen 19's for a square setup, I'm specifically asking about the 19x9.5 ET20 OEM wheels. Most 19 square setups I've seen are Apex or similar aftermarket. Will 285/35/19 fit ok on 19x9.5? I guess spacers could take care of the offset in the back.

275 is the max recommended size for a 9.5 inch wheel. I guess you could fit 285, but not ideal. Also, I think a 9.5 inch wheel is too skinny for the rear of the car, but it would work with a spacer as described in the Apex fitment guide (they sell a 9.5 square SM-10 wheel setup). Most track guys go wider with a 19X10.5 or 19X11 wheel setup with 285, 295, or 305 square. PhD racing now sells a 19X11 Titan 7 wheel that allows for 305 square with NO spacers, just need camber plates. I plan to run this setup in the Spring.

Goodyear F1 SC3Rs in 285/35R19 have a recommended max rim width of 9.5, I'm going to buy a square set for the coming season and see how it do.

I am pretty sure that information from the Goodyear web site is incorrect, 9.5” width is min. And max I believe is either 10.5” or 11”.
