I've been invited to the M3 / M4 Premiere Night at my local dealership

So I got invited to this BMW M3 / M4 Premiere Night at my local dealer (where I bought my M2C a year ago, and have serviced my BMWs for 20 years). I signed up for a 1 hour slot but wanted to know from you folks that may have done attended a similar event. Will I get to drive the cars or just look at them? The invite gave no specifics. If I cant drive them (or one), I'm not wasting my time

I've been invited to a couple too. It varies dealer by dealer. The one I'm going to is a test drive, but another one that was offered didn't offer test drives, and also they said they'd only have an M4 there, so no thanks.

Yeah, I've been to a few of these at different dealers, they typically rotate the launch/premier amongst the different dealers within our region, so it's almost the luck of the draw with who can do it for the more desirable cars. Pre-covid one of my local dealers had one that was catered by a high-end social club with passed hors d'oeuvres and an open bar, a drawing for a new Breitling watch, Cigar "Lounge", etc.. The last one I went to had some grocery store sushi and crudite...

Gosh, I was going to but the thought of hearing "what...." and having confusion set in prevented me.

I emailed the person who confirmed...lets see.

Got invited by my local dealer too. They said more than 100 people have signed up, so not everyone will get to test drive it. So I'll be going in after the event so I can actually test drive the car in peace and place the order if I like it

New Country BMW (in CT) sent me a letter as an m-customer of theirs. They’re taking reservations for test drives the weekend of the 13th. They have an M4, M4 comp, and an m3 comp. I signed up, can’t wait.
