Say what you will, but I couldn't care less about lap times. I really hope all the reviews aren't just going to be on the track. We all know the cars will be great on a track, so why ignore how it feels on a nice backroad or even around town? Chances are the car will spend the majority of its life on public roads.

I think Chris Harris is fantastic and absolutely entertaining to watch however since I have to pay for my own tires and don't get the chance to be on a track as often as he does, I certainly can't use most of his impressions on my car buying decisions.

I also like the fact that he has no problem shooting a car down when he doesn't like them. So much so that Ferrari banned him from reviewing cars for a bit. He's also tired of reviewing hyper cars and will drive a Citroen 2CV because he finds them "interesting". I have all day in the world for a guy like that, tired of Youtubers talking about ability to rewind on Sirius XM. P.S. I will say I far prefer him on Chris Harris on Cars vs Top Gear though. I also rate Henry Catchpole highly.

Y'all have forgotten about the high pitched voice of "Hi I'm Shmeeeeeeee". 😂 I'm not looking forwarded to that annoying review.

My take is the reviewers sell out to BMW and the automobile manufacturers, otherwise, the manufacturers would just find an an other social media influencer to pay off for positive posts.

Harris has IMO matured as a reviewer and seeing him in TG where he show a relaxed attitude to himself has made me like him and I look forward to his reviews. When he first sailed up I didn’t like his reviews at all, it was well produced drifting videos and not much more except his 911 videos that always been ace.

Throttle house are a bit too silly and full of themselves. I do like Harris, Rory Reid, Achilles. DeMuro and Straight Pipes. I think Reid is what Harris used to be in terms of his ability to articulate the driving experience.

The bearded dude usually tells it as it is with BMWs. He has an E46 M3 that he tracks so knows what a good BMW drives like.

You're not buying a Camry here. This car sets the benchmark for the track saloon amongst its rivals. So yeah track prowess matters. What else are you supposed to use as a benchmark? Number of carbon fiber pieces tacked on to the car?
