Not my first choice in color, but it's pretty nice looking.

I hate to think like this but knowing the M340i comes in this color makes me not like it at all for the M3/M4...

Toronto/GTA dealerships should receive their first units next week for showroom.

Color choices are always tough but that's a good problem to have in this case.

Portimao has a slight purple hue that is not captured by the camera (similar to the teal hue in LBB ). Think the pictures are somewhat misleading.

Me wondering why Budds has one on the floor and Parkview's are all stuck at the compound

Portimao Blue is a great color. For my tastes, black wheels would be replaced with silver ones.

Probably my favorite color paint for this model year M3. However I think the light interior is not my preference. I'd spec mine with a black interior to keep the black & blue theme. The side benefit is the interior would be darker and thus more difficult to see me driving such an ugly car.

Not I fan, I find is disgraceful that the m3 hasn't received an exclusive blue.

Looks like the one from Montreal does not have the CF pack, first one we are seeing close up of many. Other than the mesh in the front air intakes it hard to distinguish from a distance. I think the blackout without CF is a nice way too keep the price in check. This blue looks nice

The dark colors, specifically black, are great because they hide the dark accents. Mainly that big ugly front grill! If I ever buy a G80, it will be black without a doubt.

Probably requested theirs to be shipped. I know there is a request for people to see the M3/M4 in person because they missed the mini-event when the press cars were being shipped between dealerships.

Portimao is not an exclusive BMW M color... but I don't care. Still looks great! Looks much better than the Gentian blue that Porsche offers for their 911s.

Based on the M4 i've seen in PB and various 3-series in PB i wouldn't say it's a "normal" blue. It has a very special shining especially in the sun, seems to have a little purple in it.
At night I actually love this color!

But I know what you mean, you love Yas Marina and Portimao is far from that.
I think they just decided to bring in Green (which also looks very good) instead of bright blue, just to make something different I guess.
San Marino blue has that purple, never seen it in PB. It's all subjective my friend but PB belongs on a base 3 series to me.
