So looks like no highlighter wheel after all!

The 963M looks like the best wheel, but I am not a fan of the holes in the spokes and definitely wouldn't want to have to clean them!!
Finally. Someone actually read the caption. Not for sale. The colour was only meant to demonstrate the intricacies of the wheel openings. I'm glad they clarified that. What an abomination. I prefer the 763M or GT4 any day. These wheels suit the the poor design of this car. Might as well keep the overall design philosophy the same. Tsk tsk

I actually don't mind some of the other styles for thus platform.

Interesting, I don't recall seeing that all the other times I watched the video. Seems like it was added after the initial release. Maybe they decided to pull the plug based on the negative feedback .

Style 829, the OEM winters, are 19x9 ET20 and 19x9.5 ET20. Don't know the offsets of the rest of them though.

What's with the gripe about the 963m? It's basically a 763m with cutouts...

Had 763m's on my f80, will be getting the 963m for sure.

No disputing that, but it changes nothing to my view.

Same applies to the new 963M wheels for the G8X. BMW and ///M have used "BBS style" wheels forever. There's a reason for that: it is a very efficient and elegant design.
Being the best wheel we agree on. But I won't give them credit it for it, the way I do with the 825 and 826M, both of which are gorgeous.

On a non technical/aesthetic side note, that one BMW wheel designer didn't look too happy to be there in front of the camera; or maybe it's just "ze Germans"?

3 minutes of basic wheel design. Yawn. Maybe they can tell us how they decided on the HVAC fan speeds next?

I was also damn sure the standard wheel was not mentioned in the first version of the video...either I felt asleep and didn't notice or I wasn't attention enough, but now they actually show it.

Might just be me but these extra holes just look like extra time cleaning ... it's a shame what passes for "design" these days is more holes, slashes and vents vs a pure singular shape.

Good point but after a track day any wheel is harder to clean and I'd prefer to have the lightest most solid possible wheel.

A good ceramic coating (done by a pro installer) as made a huge difference for me.

It's just paint, any half decent panel shop or wheel resto shop will paint them. How do you think they got them SPY in the first place.

If this is true, it's going to be way easier to manage clearance for track setups !

Hi guys,

what you think about this rendering? EDELWEISS LT°3 from Germany, 20" front/rear, under 22 lbs (10kg) each, ca. 3.500 € per set, TÜV approved

Not my taste. I really don't like most aftermarket wheels though as they all seem to look a little ricey to me.
