Meh, it's just a car forum. People will defend anything on here when they feel threatened that the thing that brings them joy is made fun of, even if it is objectively crap.

Everything else was the damn same you could put in a 320 if you wanted.

Also 4000lbs...learn the numbers...what the heck. If you have a fat ass of 400lbs then yes it is over 4000lbs.

I suggest you basically are here only to flame for whatever reason.
You don't like the car, it's OK but at least argue correctly and don't write crap down that is not true at all.
The base RWD G80 is 1,805 kg (3,979 lbs) thats without AWD or hardtop which would make it 400+lbs more what was your point to try to sound smart ? it's a 4000+lb car my point was valid

Well when writing my first answer to you in your profile it was written 428i so I may assume you own that.

And I welcome you to read my driving review, I actually drove the car.

Check in the main board, you will find it.

....That goes both ways.

....and don't you mean subjectively crap? Does someone telling you your woman is ugly change anything for you?

https://g80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...ght=DIN+weight

feel free to read this thread.

Let's add 100 Kg for extras to the mentioned 1674Kg from the BMW measure and we are at 3890lbs.

And if you don't track your car you won't feel anything, and I doubt that actually even more than 10% of the buyers will take this car on track. For Track purpose there is way better cars out there but they are specifically for the track. You guys are so hard focused on numbers...drive the car for god's sake before making any judgement.

It is heavier, no one is denying it, but it's not as heavy as people tend to tell like you.

But it is always the same, people always complain.
There are various reason's why the weight went up, feel free to contact BMW and let them explain to you WHY.

People want all bits and bytes the technology nowadays can give, maximum security (which is a big reason for the weight), maximum stiffness, maximum power and all this in 1'500 KG for a price less than 60k.

You may see the issue here.

No, I mean objectively. Like, people with the 228i Gran Coupe will argue that they have a great car because it has the latest iDrive and the M2CS does not. But then, that's the nature of car forums.
