Just asked myself, then saw this thread

So they will probably not be happy withe the dealer too when all other seem to be strict to holding on the release date.

Interesting... I wonder if all the test drive threads are going to come down next, or if that's okay? I was thinking about stopping by the dealer tonight to take their Brooklyn Gray M4 for a spin since there have been a handful that have seem to been able to. I suppose I took an M850 and M3CS out before their official releases... sorry I wasn't as active on the forums then, but throwing the CA across the backseat of the CS on a cold winter day on summer tires with DSC full off surely amused me. Fairly similar day today...

I know two dealers in the NYC area that have already sold cars...BMWNA hit my DM's with a M Driving School Voucher and I'll provide the info....

Such a turn off from what was a glorious last couple of days. Now I’m not even going to bother to take the drive to the dealer until after the professional reviews are in . Great job NA to pour cold water on the excitement for what seems to be an awesome product. I’ll be back for sure to check it out but now I’m just turned off and don’t want to see the BMW sign for a while.

I want to know how much they offered you to pull the thread!

I recall an article a few weeks ago about a Ford dealer that sold their bronco sport "hea" car and tried to tell the customer they had to give it back... big oopsie that generated more attention rather than make it go away

I'm late to the party after working all day. So there was a thread from a new owner, who maybe shouldn't have their car yet and it got pulled? Does BMW NA follow these forums that closely?
