Marina Bay Blue is very close and there are multiple examples of it being approved.

But SMB is on the Individual Visualizer for the M3 so I’m sure they will approve it.

I had almost placed an SMB, and was told by the dealer that it is an approved color. I think someone on the boards from Switzerland has an SMB approved- hope we will see pictures here soon.

I ended up actually requesting both Marina Bay and San Marino in case they reject one or the other. I'm first in the allocation queue at my dealership so I'm hoping to find out ASAP after allocations appear whether or not they will approve one or both.

I have little doubt that they will approve either but I wanted to save the time in the request process. I'd personally be happy with either. Gorgeous colors!

M3 Oxide Grey is very reminiscent of Platinum Silver Metallic (last offered in 2020 on 3's). Wife's 2019 340iX 6MT had it - and may want Oxide Grey on "ordered"( in queue)M3 6MT - rather then Brooklyn Grey.Have only seen videos of it. Any insight other than $1400 cost differential as to similarities in color and "glossiness of the Oxide Grey?
