So I just pick up my car this Saturday and I generally never buy these warranties. However, you can negotiate with the finance guy. I decided to go for it since I just benefitted from my Navy Federal Credit Union True Car promotion and got an extra $2500 off the car. It was originally going to be wheel/tire, ding removal key replacement, and window ding repair for $2900 I asked him to add window replacement to it and give me his best price if he wanted to earn some type of sale. I ended up getting it all for $3000 for 6 years. I figured if I get one cracked window I just paid for it not to mention if I crack a rim(which I did in my M roadster years ago.) Good luck!

For those of you that got the wheel and tire package: is it transferable to a new owner in a sale?
I got the package for $2,300 on my 2023 M3 back in Nov 2022. I have to sell it since I'm moving and trying to figure out how to transfer it (if it can be transferred). I'm not sure if it's an OEM offering or 3rd party. Thanks! |

Buy the car, drive off the lot, stop by discount tire and purchase the tire road hazard warranty. Which replace the tire at no charge due to a nail or whatever
. Total cost for the lifetime of the tires is 375$ for 21inch pirelli pzero tire set( 2024 740I M package and wheel upgrade). Dealer wanted 2500$😂. Not worried about the wheel, that’s why we got insurance. |

Two points on this. If you bought the wheel and tire protection from dealer, you can always get a refund for a prorated amount if you trade in or sell before the term is up. Read the fine print as it tells you how to get the refund.
Second, I decided that the dealer wheel abs tire warranty is no longer worth it unless you negotiate them down significantly. As said before, discount tire will warranty your tires for your for only a few hundred dollars. That’s much more worth it. Also, wheel repair is fairly cheap. I had a really bad curb rash on a wheel that supposedly couldn’t be painted or fixed. A wheel repair guy fixed it for $150 and it was immaculate. |

I found the benefit to be variable. One year I took it out (trend to be annual policies in Uk, sometimes 3) and from separate insurance companies).
It paid out for 3 tyres and broke even. Other cars/times I’ve self insured and had no punctures/repairs needed at 25k miles/year. So as always with these things pot luck. Depends on your attitude to risk. |

I got mine for fairly cheap (under $2000) and it's already partly paid for itself by getting me a free new tire from a screw in the side wall. I hope I don't need to keep using it but the process was pretty painless to get it approved.

I'm getting 72 months for bit less than $1700. Have had it previously on multiple BMWs and have had to use it. I like my dealership and the service department and it is nice to just walk in and have it taken care of without questions. Have never had an issue with haggling over anything with the tire & wheel warranty. All in all, with all the BMWs that I have had, is the house winning? Yeah probably, but not by much! And like I said zero hassle.

I live in Chicago. Roads are shit! I have it on my wife’s new MB GLS and we have already used it. I currently have an Infiniti rs400 I have gone through multiple tires, and the wheels have been refinished as well as a wheel replaced. Imo it’s worth it. I plan on getting it for the M3 I have on order.

Worth it, especially since SAs don't care about how and when it happened -- the tire/wheel protection is covered by a 3rd party.
12 tires replaced under warranty over the last 2 years -- more than paid for itself. |

I gave my SA an earful about it being really stupid and they went back to ask for an exception which was granted. No telling how many times that exception will be granted though. |
