Nice spec! I was just wondering, what does the shadow line trim deletion do on a BSM car?

I actually didn't know this, but the Sales Manager informed me. The deletion means that the normally black capped parts (like the mirrors and spoiler) are painted BSM. It also replaces the black exhaust tips with polished ones, which I think matches the silver wheels nicely.

First M Car and super excited! I figured I can change the front bumper exterior carbon bits myself over time. Went with OEM lowered suspension for warranty and to avoid issues since I plan to keep the vehicle a while!

Not sure what "BSM" is but I got trim deletion as well because I wanted the mirrors trim and trunk spoiler to match body color, personally prefer that unless it's carbon fiber. I have black wheels, so I figured only sacrifice is changing out chrome exhaust tips to black myself. Only other difference I saw was that the base model gets chrome logos but Comp still keeps black logos even with shadowline delete.

So if anyone wants to trade black exhaust tips for chrome in the future let me know!

BSM is black sapphire metallic. So that’s why I was curious what’s the difference (since the trim will be black), and learned they will paint it BSM.

And yeah, comp logos now get a chrome/silver outline. Which I’m not a fan of, but whatever, very minor.

I've seen mixed reviews. I've heard some say the video quality isn't as good as many after-market dashcams. Additionally, some have complained about the size.

However, I think it looks fine from the videos I've seen. Getting it port-installed was the main factor for me.

I opted for the Drive Recorder option, too. For $100, having some redundancy as backup seemed like a no-brainer.

I wonder how the parked mode is. I’ve heard so many stories of parked cars getting nailed. I’ve seen one or two in my life so a parked mode is a must for me. It’s a tricky option because of the battery drain component when your car is off. Some people opt for a battery pack but those are as much as the dash cam itself.

My research led me to the Thinkware u3000 just because it had the lowest power drain (by far) for park mode and, like the others in this price range, had crisp smooth video footage day and night. Pricey but money well spent

To the other poster above…yeah you will have to remove your A-pillars and door paneling to install the back camera but it’s not that hard as long as you can follow a how-to video and can turn a screw driver!
