Im going to try to abide by the break in service, but I never have, with any car. This will be car 30, and probably 26 of those, have been brand new. Ive always driven it like Im going to drive it, from the first mile I put on the car. I don't suspect I'm going to be too worried about using launch control, with xDrive, anyway.

BMW does not CPO any full M cars. I had a lengthy conversation about this with my local dealer before I ever purchased mine. It costs too much money for them to do it.
Go on Cargurus or any other site like that and I guarantee you won't see any CPO M's. |

I owned a CPO F80, so they will do it for the right car.

I hope not... They will be very disappointed in me. 130+ on the autobahn on the way home from the dealer and lots of miles over 100 so far. I dont believe in a soft break in. The manufacturers interest is in getting you last the warranty period. A harder break in is better if you care about longevity, which I do.
