M performance carbon wing port installed?

I am having a really difficult time with my dealership, I have a 2022 M3C on order, currently in body production. I am trying to get the M performance carbon rear wing added as a port installed option and the salesman is telling me that he is being told that it is not a port installed accessory and that it would have to be installed by a tech at the dealership.

As a technician myself I am sorry but I do not trust a tech to be doing body work like that and feel confident it is in the right location and installed correctly. Is there any resource I can use to either confirm what they are saying or to get the correct information to them? Does anyone else have experience with this?

It's option ZH9 in the VIA options, and is available. My understanding is that this is installed at the VPC.

Thank you very much, do you happen to know where I can get a copy of the VIA parts and billing guide for the G80?

It's a pain in the ass to get off the ordering system. It doesn't show prices until submitting the order.

I ordered the carbon lip, not the bigger spoiler, on my G30. I was told it would be installed at the dealer when it gets there. My CA could be wrong but I'm under the impression it's going to be done at the dealership. It might be different depending on the model too.

Could be wrong but if it's installed at the dealership they usually charge very high labor rates. Also, i am certain if it's installed at dealer it's not added to MSRP and can't be residualized if you are leasing. Dealer prefers it because they make more $.

Yeah, it didn't show up on the spec sheet so that could be the case. I wasn't told about labor rates either so I guess that's one more surprise.

How do other people do it to avoid the upcharge?

I was able to get it added to my build along with the Carbon front Splitter and Carbon side skirts, although they appear to be listed as "lower blades M rocker panel black" so I am hoping that's not a mistake and the wrong parts added. I had to speak to the general manager in order for the parts to be added to the build. It didn't seem like they were at all familiar with the process.
