Whatcha talkin bout Willis? You mean the factory just closes shop for 2-3 weeks during the holidays and no cars are built? I know Europeans get more vacation days and all and don't work like dogs like we do in the US, but that sounds nuts for a factory.

Week 49 there's a guy from Southern California who ordered his M4 on 11/16 and got an allocation the same day and started production immediately after. He was at the port waiting for a ship for 10 days and as of yesterday is in transit on the boat. While I'm stuck here like

Any movement for any of you week 43+ guys? I just found out 2 guys production week 48 and 49 (m3 and an m4) are getting their cars this and next week with absolutely no delays or stop sales... It seems like the issue is with 43-47 week builds

What is happening here and please correct me if I am wrong is that your car either gets stuck at quality check, the port or at the VCP but I have yet to read of a case where someone's M3/M4 (last two months at least) wasn't delayed at at least one of these 3 places.
So you might go quickly through the initial process just to get stuck at the end and the other way around. |

You may be onto something. Mine is a week 46 build M4 and I'm still stuck in QC since 11/16 with no movement

Week 44 here, and in QC since 11/4. Called Genius this morning and he basically said they don't get any info from the plant but plan on the QC lasting into mid-January due to the 2.5-3 week shutdown. I seriously don't understand how a G82/G83 produced after week 44 should already be in someone's hands. Unbelievable.

Yes, and then you start looking at March or even April for delivery if you are on the West coast. Since it's warming up in Greer by then, I am going to look at switching to a PCD even if I have to wait for a slot. I have waited this long what's another month at this point.

Week 47 and didn't have any QC delays but have the RAM and Amp stop sales. I am sure when it gets to the VPC there will be a considerable delay. Been stuck at the port for 2 weeks waiting on a ship.
