Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Would like to get your inputs. I have M3 Base with San Marino and full Kyalami/Black (buckets) in status 111 and I can't decide on the caliper color. I currently have the car spec'ed with black calipers. Red is definitely out of the question as I'm afraid it would clash with the interior. I wasn't sure about the traditional blue calipers as it's a different shade of blue than San Marino. But I'm now having a second thought about having blue calipers. From some pics, they look pretty good with San Marino. Any inputs would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! |

IMHO...
I never really understood the "clash" concern between caliper and interior colors, since they're not really in the same view at the same time. That's like saying your basement color clashes with your upstairs office color. I like the look of red calipers, but I think the blues work great with San Marino as well (see link below). Blacks are fine but they tend to get lost in the wheels, so if you're just trying not to draw any attention to them, that certainly works. https://external-preview.redd.it/pOw...=webp&d9389c11

Not an option you presented, but I would say custom painted orange.
I don't think the blue would look bad either, but definitely not red. |

Red would be a good choice of color unless you want to go with blue calipers.

FWIW — My build is IOMG/KO + red calipers — at least on the configurator, it looked great to me

Red, it will add a subtle splash of color at the wheels. Only really noticeable by those in the know.
And those in the know expect the brake color to be something that offsets the rest rather than blends in |

I really like some contrast so even though not perfect match for exterior I would spec blue on my car. Definitely not red because doesn’t match exterior or interior. The calipers definitely have to match something.

red calipers are a sin with orange interior
Definitely black calipers. or do what I do to my cars. have your calipers powder coated in whatever color you want! id suggest orange to match the interior! otherwise, black |

I like the red calipers. I know that you said that it wasn't an option for you.
