Slightly off-topic: has there ever been an M car with both a manual transmission and all-wheel drive?

I'm thinking maybe the previous generation of the M5 (the F10), but definitely not any of the other M models.

Nope, the F10 was RWD. The SUV M's were always automatic. AWD just came to non-SUV M's with the F90 M5, the M8, and now the G8x.

Big surprise it will soon be exchanged for the new wagon. At least we get several more long videos with him sitting with his CA breaking down why the color he will choose is so incredible, and then the massive shock when they pull the drape off the car at arrival and he is completely blown away.
