Estoril Blue G80?

I saw that this color was once an individual option for the G80 but was pulled quickly from the lineup. I'm curious how many example of this finish are out there since I have yet to find any examples of one of this site.

Why would anyone pay individual prices for a color that was free on regular F-series cars with the M Sport package.

So many nicer, more exclusive colors to choose from.

Estriol Blue is a M3 heritage color, debut on the E36 M3. Sure it made it onto F chassis cars as a standard color but I assume someone who wants it on a G is doing so for the heritage. Also it’s a great color regardless IMO.

Agreed with this point of view - I considered a bunch of colors and it just came down to whether I wanted a color not offered and thought the extra couple grand + wait time was worth it. Exclusivity didn’t factor in at all.

Different priorities for different folks

My primary reason for asking about this color is because I may have an opportunity to pick up a low mileage used one. I was told by the seller it is the only one in existence due to the short timeline it was available. I'm skeptical about how many were actually produced but my research shows it may be true. I'm waiting for an allocation for a 23 and have become impatient and want something to hold me over until delivery. The $10k to $20k overage on the new ones seem to be standard and although I see why and have considered a couple of them, I leaning towards a used one now since I'll only hold onto it for a year or so. If Estoril is rare I was thinking it would help hold the value a little more.

Went to go pick it up an hour ago and turns out it already had a deposit on it, just my luck. The search continues...

Was it truly Estoril Blue and not Portimao? As in did the seller send you the individual plaque?
