Pretty solid work.

Another shop nobody has talked about is advanced detailing. One man show in pompano. Very good work as well. Slightly more expensive.
Did you see a white M3 there? I just dropped my car off yesterday around 4:30 PM.

Happy to hear they did a solid job for you, I am hoping for the same. They had a Ferrari F8 there, I fell in love for a second, not to mention that wrapped Lambo STO.

Yeah...that Lambo was badass!

Glad to hear some good reviews. Hopefully I get to meet you all at cars and coffee...

Yea i saw the m3, STO, and F8. I was a little perplexed why someone would wrap an exotic in stealth after paying for paint? I would just rather paid for the paint from factory. I'd be nervous having someone dig around a brand new car to change the color. But to each his own. I picked up the CS around 2ish yesterday. I will try and post some pics, some people wanted to see the difference between what is wrapped and what isn't. Negligible, though.

Sounds good!

I just spoke to Connor, sent me a video and some info. I will share here, so far the car looks amazing and they're doing an immaculate job. Thanks to you and @bmw noob for recommending.

There's nearly no diff in PPF area vs matte paint. Even in the sun, but since it's been raining all day I haven't been able to get good sun shots. I'll try tomorrow

I just got a quote from Mauricio at Ecophant for tint and partial PPF. I went there knowing for sure I wanted to do tint, but although PPF prices were fair, was more than I want to invest.

The thing that impressed me most was the level of clientele. Mauricio showed me work first hand on a Lamborghini, a couple Porsches, and X7, among other higher end vehicles. It just instills an additional level of confidence knowing their trust of the shop.

Looking forward to getting the tint done next week, and just need to decide 70% vs 55% and if I should do the windshield or not, as I don't have the greatest vision, particularly at night.

Thanks to all who shared the recommendation here..

I did mine at always sunny, as you have read here but not sure what percentage I got in front windshield (I think 70%). I can see just fine during day and night, blocks out heat perfectly. Most of the shops you go to have high end cars (for PPF). In Always Sunny they had a Ferrari F8, several Lambo STO's, and a new M3. Thats the first time I stopped by, the second time it was a slew of other VERY expensive cars.

Glad you found a good shop, I almost did Eco as well, but Connor had better prices for the same work to be done.

70 is waste of time.. do the 50 (is there a 55?)

It's not very dark, but just dark enough to tell you have tint.

How is 70 a waste of time? If you're looking for the cooling effect and blocking out harmful rays from the front windshield, the rest is just visibility choice... Please enlighten me.

I like the black look on the windshield... so for me, 70 makes 0 sense.

You can barely tell 70 on a WS, so how much UV do you really think it's keeping out?

Darkness of tint has a minimal if any impact on UV. For the product I am getting, 70% and 5% and everything in between are rated at > 99% UVR

Glare reduction and TSER are significantly higher for darker tint.

Exactly, thank you for that CarsAndGuitars. If you do some reading aj_g80 you will see that with todays technology 70% to limo tint have the same UV protection across the spectrum. It has come very far since "back in the day" where tint darkness actually made that difference (UV/Protection). I won't get into the technicals here, but my point is that its not a waste of time, you like the look and that may be all you care about, but what I care about is visibility coupled with protection for dash/interior. Respect your opinion nonetheless, just want to make sure OP gets the correct info or others looking for advice.

I used Hank in Fort Lauderdale at Pro Install. He's also on the forums for all my ppf and ceramic work...any issues he takes care of it. Havent bad any but hardworking guy with his own shop and meticulous down to the pixel. pro_install

We did full ppf and ceramic plus stek cf on the roof with accents. Really came out great since I opted for the sunroof.

Just dropping a note to thank the folks on this thread that recommended Ecophant. Based on the recommendations, I drove from Pines and took my new Frozen Pure Grey m3 to Mauricio for full body xpel stealth ppf and i'm very satisfied with the results.

This shop is pristine clean and Mauricio took the time and explained the whole process to me and answered my questions. He instilled the confidence, I left it at his shop Monday morning and by Weds afternoon the car was ready.
