Doesn't matter now but, I joined their list in February of this year... guess Rus didn't think I was serious for an order. Called him last week before I got my order from Camelback and they still jerked me around.

is what it is, but being a sales professional it rubs me the wrong way. I just pride myself on complete transparency .

It worked out though everyone got an allocation and looks like we might all be the same build week (36) too haha.

Having worked in sales for years as well, I'm big on transparency. I worked with Maurice Bell who has been a transparent straight shooter since I first called. I had my name on the camelback and Scottsdale lists but they both quoted me 12+ months, and Scottsdale actually laughed at me when I asked about their allocation waitlist.

Doesn't matter now as I flipped to 150 today but yeah, always interesting to hear how dealer experiences can differ for person to person

That's unfortunate to hear about Arrowhead. Rus was great with me and got order/allocation/delivery in about four months. Referred a few others to him who has since taken delivery as well without any issues.

The service team at Arrowhead is a different story though and I had a horrible experience with them taking my G80 in for the windshield to get replaced. So I now do service at BMW NS and had a good break-in service experience there.

I was jerked around too, I placed my order in December, promised I had an allocation in January, then in March found out I didn't have an allocation, but finally did get one last week. I had already gotten tired of their BS and sourced my car from somewhere else. Glad I did, it's a lot more fun to drive then waiting for it.

For sure, just one of those things. I was told the same by NS and Chapman chandler was the same when I was looking to be added to the list. Just happen to know a manager at Camelback so trusted his word a bit more.

Yea, I've always heard good things with them too why I was kind of shocked. Another buddy joined same time and had the same experience but I get it, dealership experience always varies and I know these lists aren't short.
I'll have to give NS a try on service.

Chapman on Camelback forgot to put coolant in my car during my first service...

Hard to say which one of these service departments is the best

At Arrowhead, I had them do an inspection on my e39 m5 prior to sale, so I could have a video to show buyers (it had 68k on it). They found a few suspension pieces needed replacement, but they missed several other items. The SA tried to tell me I was wrong, even though I sent him photos of it. He still wanted his 10/10. He no longer works there. My client advisor had horrible communication skills. Horrible! Like, going on vacation and not telling me when we were in the thick of wrapping up my order. Just didn't respond for a week. He no longer works there.

At Henderson bmw, the guy tried to tell me that the break in service was a 4 hour job. He didn't look happy when I told him I could do it myself on their lift in under an hour (they ended up doing it in under 2 hours).

I just had my windshield replaced with Penske glass at bmw NS. Everything went well, seems to have been done to a high standard. I guess they really earned that $38 shop charge for the recalibration of the sensors.

I'll visit dealer service departments only when someone else is paying.

Agreed - the only reason to go is bc maintenance is included (even though we're paying for it)

Chapman Chandler f ked me over, even after buying a previous car from them. My CA was useless. They kept playing with my emotions lol. Eventually I went to 112,and one day I logged on to my garage and the entire build was changed, color etc. They "accidentally" gave my allocation to someone else and all that shit, more like sold it to the highest bidder. They eventually fixed it, but it pushed me out 4 months to a 23. I had also been on Tucsons Waitlist and I thought they had forgot about me. Well I called them after this debacle and I had just gotten my allocation a day earlier coincidentally. They were absolutely wonderful. No deposit required, $1500 rebate from BMW NA for the 2 month delay at port. Honored my trade value from 3 months prior to delivery. CA was amazing

Saw a BG M3 today by the Kohls in Ahwatukee. Stopped and had a quick chat at the red light. Always nice to have the small interactions like that with fellow enthusiasts.

I bought my G80 from Scott a couple months ago. I can vouch for the excellent sales experience.

Has anyone tested the market out here? When I did a few months ago I was offered mid $80's for my car but now I have a lot more miles.

I sold my RWD M3 Comp two weeks ago, in advance of my XDrive version coming in. I got my best deal going through the sell my car feature through Carfax.com. They give you a price estimate and then send the lead out to a few local dealers. From there, you take it in for a formal appraisal.

If your car is a 2021, you may want to try the Max Price Offer on CarGurus. I heard their pricing is pretty aggressive. I tried them myself, but couldn't generate an offer because mine was a 2022.

I'm in Cave Creek and my M440xi Convertible arrived at the port, hopefully the Genius wasn't a Genius and it gets on a boat before 5 weeks have gone by.

Hey y’all. I go into Scottsdale tomorrow to finalize my options on the M4 allocation I just got. I can’t wait to join the AZ BMW crowd. I’m in far north Phoenix west of Cave Creek and have a giant garage with AC, a big screen, surround sound and two lifts. If anyone wants a detailing/mods buddy I’d be down to meet after I get my car. I’m slotted for an October build date per the email I just got. I think I’m going to go with a black exterior and do a wrap.
