AZ G8x Meetup & Drive to Jerome Photos (Including Drone and Rolling Shots)

I wanted to put together a post from a recent G8x meetup we had here in Phoenix recently.

We met up on the morning of Saturday July 23rd over in the area of Desert Ridge Marketplace. After a little bit of getting to know some of the new members of the group and some photos. We then drove up to Jerome for a late breakfast/early lunch ( ellisina4 was starving!

) and a few more photos with the few that could stick around for a bit longer.

They day started off with a bit of light rain but the weather eventually cleared up and we had a perfect day for the cruise up to Jerome.

The group is as follows:

Great shots for sure. I remember carving up the turns going through Yarnell on that route on my crotch rocket when I lived in PHX.

Yes, the combination of mods works really well on the BG...mods that don't always work for me individually. But the wheels and stance set the foundation for greatness, I agree.

These front grilles are, in my opinion, the greatest mod to any BMW since I subscribed to Roundel in 1988 as a teenager. I was banned from the G8X forums for 9 months for expressing my frustration with the stock grilles. And while I have since warmed up to the stock grilles afterall, it feels great to know that there are options up front for these cars.

Props to all for coming together for what looked like a cruise and some even better pics! Everyone of them is special!
