This is why. You are in the goldilocks zone. I am 6'2 240. Did not skip leg day. Plus PLUS I am not in my 20s. IF I was, all friggin day. In my 40s..I am pretty much looking like this guy. He doesnt look that comfortable at all.

And for all you big dick energy dudes, I think that is a cap which can be removed for a 3-point harness. There, you can get some zip ties to mount your manhood appropriately.

I personally couldn't believe how much better the interior looks with those carbon buckets. They are tight thou, if you are a bigger dude I can imagine them being very uncomfortable.

Coming from a c63s edition 1 with the most uncomfortable bucket seats I've ever sat in and a GTs with buckets, these feel very comfortable even on long drives.

If you can fit comfortably I 1000% recommend you get these seats, they take the interior to another level.

I've put almost 200 miles on the car since Monday night and for all you waiting, it's worth it.

Prior to going into status 150 I was only torn on one option. Carbon buckets vs standard seats! The day before I switched to 150 I changed my spec to Silverstone buckets and I think it may have been the best car decision I have ever made.

I am 5'9 and 165 pounds. For me they fit my frame perfectly and are extremely comfortable. Yes exit is a slight work out but it's getting easier by the day. The comfort is just the added bonus. Dare I say these are the nicest looking seats available on the market right now?! The class, aesthetics, and overall feel of the car is transformed. It makes a great car feel truly special.

So if you are waiting for an allocation or are in status 112 and contemplating, DO IT. You won't regret.

A few interior pics for viewing pleasure
I'm 6'3 210 pounds , "slim build" if you will
And I truly feel like I've never been more comfortable in a seat than in this bucket.

The first initial impression was negative when I got inside but after a week , it fits like a perfect glove.

Not just the interior to the next level but the driving experience as a whole is incredible.

You sit lower and everything is tight , you're planted , just like how it should be in a performance car of this caliber.
I've tested out the regular seats , they are comfortable but that's about it.

I’m in the same boat. I really wanted the tartufo interior and had to sacrifice the buckets. On the bright side, i’m saving $4,500

I agree, it just makes the whole car overall more special. Everyone that's sat in my car always says they feel like they are in an airplane. I didn't even want to tint the windows because of how nice the carbon on the back looks.

The seats look fantastic and definitely take the interior up a level from a regular 3 series. But... I really worry about the lack of lumbar support. I don't care that getting in and out of the car is slightly more difficult. I do worry that my lower back is going to start feeling weird after 20-30 minutes.

I have sat in the backseat of my M440. Tall people need not apply. It definitely would suck to sit back there on long drives

The carbon bucket seats look fantastic. I initially ordered my car with the sport seats and thought I'd get the Dinmann carbon seat backs to compensate for the lack of carbon. Got those and was disappointed in the quality and returned them. Really thought long and hard about switching to buckets but already waited so long for my car and didn't want to delay it further. The buckets are a great looking seat but for everyday use and this car being my daily, getting in and out may become annoying over time. Just depends on what you want to deal with everyday. My friend has them, they are 100% comfortable once in.

Just got back from a family trip and put 600 miles driving time in the buckets. Longest stent was 3 plus hours. Felt great the entire trip. Furthermore it's now second nature getting in and out.

I do not feel any lower back issues with this seat.
Of course it's different for everyone.
