Here’s the tire information from my car. I’m running OEM 829 with PA5s. The dealer inflated them to 34 front and 36 back. I did a Thanksgiving road trip 500 miles there and then 500 miles back in about 50 degree weather and they had good grip on the on/off ramps when I could get some space. They did become a bit harsher as you would imagine when the temps dropped recently. Haven’t been able to experience snow yet with them. Will be making the same trip again for Christmas. Then I’m scheduled to switch these for the CSL 827 with AS4s thereafter so I will be able to see what those feel like.

Dropped each down by about 4psi (35/36 cold) and I think it may be a bit better. Will need to drive it more to be sure. A little less responsive though, but I guess that isn’t surprising.
Definitely set to winter/all season (285 rear) and it’s still calling for 42psi (warm), which just seems crazy high to me. FWIW, when I picked up my M3 the tires were at 32 all around. My M4 was 41 all around. I don’t think anyone knows where these tires are supposed to be at.

I dont know how to describe it. Its was more when I had to do a quick accleration to get around some cars and def felt like I hit a bit resistance when I hit 100mph and had to hold on to the steering wheel a lot harder to prevent wobble. But since I quickly slowed it down since I was in the break in period, didnt want to keep going. Maybe the tire pressure is low for high speeds. Also I keep getting these warnings on my dash about the high speeds since its 25 mph over limit...

Still seeing this with the lower pressures, so I'm going to try the PA5s when they get here this week.

Nice! I have the PA5 SUV version on my Macan and I love them, so glad to hear the car version is just as good.

Here in the Northwest we got about 5”-6”s of fresh snow before I left the house this morning. I have to say, I am very happy with the Conti DWS06 Plus tires. No issues at all! Are they as good as the Blizzaks on my wife’s Escalade? No, but they are pretty darn good! I really really like the 826M wheels so I needed something that would work on this setup. May buy another set and run 19” squared in winter and 20” in summer.
Side Note: The carbon ceramic brakes have been flawless. I have experienced zero issues with them in heavy snow or rain. |

I just wanna do a quick update on the DWS06. Its been a huge variation on temperatures from -20F to 45F, upto 2 inches of snow, rain with sleet with freezing temp and the tire has handled great and has been so sure footed. If you take ur time driving them when the conditions are bad and let them warm up a bit, they handle exceptionally well. I pushed my car to the limit with the temp in the 30’s yesterday as it was dry pavement and I finally got my break in service and boy did the car fly on the DWS. Im so impressed with this tire that Im really debating putting summers on. Im even thinking of selling the 826M wheels with Pzeros summers but only reason Im not is the fact that I will have a spare of I get a flat in summer. Wont be of much help in the winters. So might as well put another DWS on them. So if anyone looking for brand new Pzeros summers, shoot me a PM and make me an offer.

So it was like 35F yesterday and dry and the car handled beautifully. The acceleration is beyond insane in D3 mode with sport suspension and before I could look down, its easily past 100 mph. Pushed to to about 118 mph for a brief period and needed more correction on the steering wheel but the tires just kept going. So I would say sweet spot 35-50F for the winters esp if you are looking to keep it under 100mph.
