2024 M3 Cold Tire Pressure

Hello all. My M3 is on it's way to the dealership. Being it's my first BMW. I'm trying to figure two things out.

First, what i want the cold pressures set at. For winter storage. Five to six months storage in my climate. I'm figuring 4 lbs over what sticker says. Don't want to lose much air during storage.

Second, for street no track? Many different opinions on this.

Opinions seem to vary greatly on tire pressure in general. Except for don't underinflate them.

I know this has been talked about alot. But i'm having a hard time on what to do. Again, since opinions generally speaking. Vary greatly. Thanks!

It'll depend on what tires your car is delivered with as the specs for the Pirellis and Michelins are different.

Set to 32 cold. No reason to overinflate. They shouldn’t lose air, but the pressure will increase/decrease by 1PSI for about every 10F. Check again in a couple months, it should follow my rule.

Not to hijack the thread but I set my tire pressures to 32 cold. Every morning i get a message saying tire pressure low. The tires read at 32/33. I have been resetting the TPMS every day for the past week and I still get the damn message. Why am i getting this message when the pressures in the tires are fine? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I get the same thing, and mine are actually at 33/34, one pound above the door jamb. Even in the myBMW app it says "Check tire pressure at your convenience".

Go to tire settings and switch your settings to under 100mph unless you drive like that every day. If I'm not mistaken, that will help

I figured it out. Speed was set to >100mph in the tire settings. Changed it to <100mph and all is well.
