Now I kind of want to get delayed until week 6, 7, or 8. I suppose I could change to an individual color, like shit brown (X13) and make that happen. Really don't want them delivering car to the dealer on a wet salty day on a truck right behind the drives of the truck. Will need them to be top deck over the cab instead.

One would think, with all of the technology and engineering talent BMW has at its disposal, that they would have the means of sending production updates directly to customers rather than requiring us to continually follow up via MyBMW, calls to SA's, and inquiries to Genius. <sigh>

anyone move off of 150 status?

From what I've noticed of the week 43 people, their cars moved off of 150 the week of their production (so this week). Hoping to see some movement towards the end of this week, but as my production is 11/5 I'm guessing that's doubtful...I feel like once it actually enters production there's no turning back and the dates won't slip lol

Don't sweat it, man. I've been waiting since April. My first Individual order couldn't be fulfilled by the factory because they said it was too close to the end of production for model year 2021, so I was told to wait until 2022 allocations if I wanted to continue with an individual paint.

Well hoping to be part of this thread now I guess. Order accepted 7/22 was originally week 35 moved back so many times I can’t even count. Started production 9/22 and I’ve been in QC since 10/7.

It is on its way from Munich to the dealership now. I'm in Kaiserslautern, Germany.

Supposedly now I am week 44. I was originally week 40, then shifted to week 43 for my G83. I'm still in 150 status, though. Not fun...

I'm week 45 and STILL in status 112. I'm really getting tired of this process, I never went through this with either of my F82's

Order received 7/22, production started 9/22. I was originally week 35 , I’ve been moved back so many times I can’t even count. No clue what week I am, genius and CA don’t have any more info. I’m hoping the RAM issue is being settled at the factory so when I finally get dispatched there won’t be anymore delays. I guess the earliest I’d be is week 44, that’s this week I believe.

Also the week # on threads is for the week that your car is scheduled for PRODUCTION, not delivery.

Update on my car; pushed to week 45, still status 112 (scheduled for production). Thankfully it is not a full month delay like my sales advisor warned me about. Hoping to see it flip to 150 sometime in the next few days!

Hmmm according to the sticky thread Guide to Ordering and Tracking your BMW build week is completion date. According to Genius and dealer my build week is week 40. Both my SA and Genius have independently confirmed to me multiple times that the build week is when production begins. I understand this is contrary to what many people on here state, but it goes with the timeline my car is on.

still status 150 as of this morning, with Genius saying production still scheduled to start this week with completion 11/8. I would've expected some changed from 150 if that's still the case but who knows. She suggested it's possible they didn't scan in the car when it went into the production assembly area but I am skeptical on that...likely just delaying the start of production.

Once it hits 151, the car is built pretty quick. 2-3 days from what I've seen.
