The headlights look even more oversized on the M. I don't mind the direction toward the bigger grilles, but the headlights/grilles are so poorly proportioned. I think it would look better if the headlights looked more sunken in like on the 4er Concept. Not bugeyed like this thing...

So - now we can see the "leaked" (just left it on the street, really?) full car M4 photo, it seems that they two side openings are covered by a hex-grid mesh and you can't see the diagonal supports. You can see the stupid radar transceiver (they can't paint little silver lines on this I guess?) And that is obviously going to look pretty bad with a US front plate.

On the whole, I do think this looks a lot better than most of the renders. I could live with this if it drives well. (but for me that really depends on the transmission not sucking)

By the way, what do people think about the fussy 'fake scoops' in the hood? Are they just there to function as bird-baths in Winter? They sort of disappear to my eye due to the hood line right in front of them being more obvious.
