Advance Driving Course with G8X

Hi,
Has anyone received their offer for the Advance 1 Driving Course after the purchase of their G8X?
I remember getting this fairly quickly with the purchase of my F80 but nothing so far since picking up my G80 in Oct.

Mine came quickly after picking up my F82 as well. Pick up my G82 4th March so will let you know. I will be asking about it for sure.

I have purchased 2 G80’s. I just got the class code in late December for my first one that I purchased back in May 2021. My second G80 was purchased in late November. It’s not even in their system right now because I checked.

Forgot to post this but I received my invitation on the day I picked up the car on March 4th.

I am waiting to book my drive day.

As of last week the 2023 dates are not available yet online.

BMW told me they are due to be posted by FEB 1st.

I have already done the advanced 1 drive day so might upgrade to the advanced 2.

Was anyone given a deadline by when to use their voucher for the experience? Was it 12 months since receiving your vehicle?

Officially yes, although I have found if you talk to BMW re this, they are more than flexible, at least in my experience.

That's great to hear, many thanks. Unfortunately, I didn't receive the vouchers for my cars till December, with 1 voucher expiring in April, and the second in August. Will book the April voucher as soon as available slots pop-up.

I've never been offered the driving course for my RWD Comp.

Purchased Sept 21 and delivered Feb 22 - am I eligible?

YES YES YES.

All new M cars should come with a drive day for the "Advance 1" drive day for one person.

You'll need to chase it up with the dealer, and link-up with the BMW experience team. Also, your contact details must be kept up to date.

BMW has recently stopped offering the advanced training experience day - for M purchasers after July 2022. It would need to be part of the negotiated price when purchasing an M-car.

Was updated today by BMW. Still no dates finalised for 2023 apparently. Was told they will contact me when they have dates locked in.

It may depend on your dealership and the promotions they are running. You can reach out to your local BMW dealership and ask if they are offering an Advance 1 Driving Course with the purchase of the G8X.
