I was just using an example, I'm not 100% sure how they differentiate which package is for which subversion, but you're most likely already on your latest pre-07/2023 rolled out version.

Saw the update in October for the upgrade, but couldn't load it. Had some time over the weekend, and was trying to get the ball rolling on it, but it disappeared from the mobile App, and I'm no-longer prompted for it in the car. Checked the OS and it still read 03/2023....

Has this happened with anyone? That the update disappears. Do I need to reboot iDrive and check for updates again? Perhaps something is amiss. Not sure....

I had the same experience, it prompted to update 2 weeks ago, then was stuck at uploading for days. Then it disappeared. Now it shows car is up to date with 3/2023. I might have to take it to the dealer. My buddy also had the same experience with his X3. Both on ID7.

I talked to my dealership and booked a service to get the software updated. Will advise next week once updated.

11/2023 is available now, make sure they load that in.

Spoke with the dealer about the 07.2023 update. Apparently it had issues so was stopped by BMW. Next update is to be released soon - it’ll come up when ready.

As per my literal previous reply, 11/2023 should already be available, so they need to get updated on their info.

Don’t know. Am based in Australia. The bmw aus site still references 03-2023.

Everything arrives here late and (expensive) - they call it the living at the end of the world island tax. Hahaha. Perhaps kiwis have it bad as well…

Am definitely looking forward to the update - hoping it fixes the Apple CarPlay glitches - random disconnects…

Have you noticed any difference worth having to re-code my bimmercode settings and CS tranny?

11/2023 has to be manually applied, it's not available via rollout. You're probably getting some updated version of 07/2023 via the automated rollout.

I don't have any bimmer codding on my car at moment, but advisor did advise it would reset any coding I had.
I just drove 3km home from dealership. I did not notice anything different in 5min drive. I will observe tomorrow when I take it for longer drive.

understood.. but wondering why remote software update is far behind the update available to dealer?
Maybe dealer get early testing before advancing to users.

That's how these work. The update "exists" then it's rolled out, very slowly, to people in batches. It takes a month or two before anyone starts to see it after the update is pushed.

Same issue happen to be. It just disappear from the idrive and the BMW app. In the BMW app, it said I already have the latest version 03/2023. I try reboot the idrive, but no luck.

I've never noticed much of anything from any update. This car isn't an iPhone. These are probably mostly security/bug updates.

I updated yesterday and noticed there is no longer a delay between 2 presses on the M2 button when MDM is being activated. So that was a pleasant surprise.
