I can check for you later, I need to connect my car and re-calculate TAL to see what the updated SWFL is for CS gearbox flash.

Personally I am running XHP so I never bothered flashing it.

On a separate note, has anyone tried coding the yellow style G80 CS/G82 CSL DRL's? I did a quick diff using a G80 CS VO file, and the NCD's are different so I think it should work.

Need to try it sometime, unfortunately I already have the yellow DRL modules (hardware change) so I wouldn't be able to test it on my own car unless I swap the modules back.

The LEDs are single color LEDs, I don't think they're codeable.

Get bimmer utility then you can compare the cafd files and see exactly the differences

I just had the full CS package flashed by kubax86 and very happy with the results! Quick and easy. Steering feels more natural and linear and transmission is crisper and bit more exciting to engage with in manual S3. There’s a more pronounced kick with with the car lunging forward during upshifts. Recommended!

Coding is wiped, but if you find the right coder, they may do "re-dos" for free/discount.

Can someone explain the process of you do this and then have an issue and need dealer support. Can you wipe what was done or is it always out there for BMW to see?

It’s exactly the same coding BMW already has built in and it’s what comes on the CS/CSL models. The hardware is capable of doing it, there’s nothing outside of factory capabilities that’s being done, so BMW generally won’t have an issue. If there’s ever a software update or they do one for you while in service, you’ll need to redo the coding. It’s not per say on the same level as unlocking your ECU and flashing a non-OEM map on it.

On the CS suspension coding, does anyone have feedback on how it feels versus stock?

You know, I've wondered about how this really works. So coding is just unlocking features that are already in the car but turned off. I know some can be done with Bimmercode, and some require a deeper dive into the system via ESys or another tool. But again, you're just turning on features already there.

Is the CS coding the same? Or are you loading in a different map for the transmission and software that wasn't present on the car when built?
