Get some non-polarized sunglasses. Polarized sunglasses filter out the HUD.

Yes. Go to car settings > displays > HUD. The position and rotation are adjusted from there.

Neither have I, but I also never had a panoramic glass panel like this in any of my cars before. It's new ground for me.
