What OBD connector are you using?
OBDLINK MX+

If the CX is recommended by bimmercode I would sure think that the same brand and one above would be just as good.

With that adapter, are you able to access the FEM?

The one I posted is the one I use and it supports all bimmercode ECUs that are available. I think FEM is one of those.

Let me verify for you first. Give me 1 hour. Oh and I'm on a G20 platform - sorry I just realized this thread is for different platform. I will look anyway.

Am I the only one using the enet adapter with no wifi? It's definitely not slow and for sure the most reliable.

I think that's the one I have. Not sure as they have a few that appear to be the same. I then got a lightning to ethernet port adapter for my iPhone. Been coding for a couple of years on the F80 and now G82. Never a single issue.

I am! But can you see the front end module? For whatever reason I don’t see it using my old f80 bootmod3 cable with a lightning adapter.

EDIT:
My bad, I am NOT using what you have. I have an actual obs2 to rj45 cable with a rj45 to lightning cable.

I have the same. It's a bummer that hardwired setup doesn't open up all the options. FEM not available for me either.

Tried my ble module too. No dice.

I'll check this for you guys. I could have sworn I've already coded parts of FEM but I will confirm today.

My apologies but with my adaptor it seems FEM is not accessible. A little research shows that it just may not be something G20 has been made available in bimmercode, OR perhaps only available with Ethernet connection.
This adapter does have Ethernet connection capability too, but I don't have the iPhone dongle to test that out.
Here are all the ECU that I see when wireless: (please note there are 2 screenshots)

I'm confused. RM56well says he went into the FEM on his G8X. Your saying the G20 doesnt support FEM? Where did G20 come into play?

Does the G8X series have a FEM or not? Because I cant see it with my enet cable to lighting cable. And Id like to have door handles light up in reverse.

My apologies. The iPhone app doesn't tell me what subforum this thread belongs to, but I am in g20 platform. It seems that for g20 the FEM contents are present in BDC. Not sure about G80.

New question.

Does anyone know if you can code in the drift analyzer?

Tried for about a month, failed. Module change probably required didn't get any farther than that.

My guess this is deployed as an app that integrates into the iDrive interface. Only for M
