Cheers for this. Ive already seen it and someone mentioned above itd be good to compare a RWD and an xdrive set to RWD.

RWD launches in 2nd, xdrive in first....would it still if set to RWD?! And does it being naturally AWD amd 50kg heavier affect its RWD performance ?!

Ive heard that the xdrive version seems have slightly tweaked torque curve to produce more grunt a little lower in the rev range. Ive no idea if this is true as its what some folk are summising from their comparison tests.

If you have m drive professional you can adjust the RWD mode to specific settings based on traction, as to doing a roll run . With that said bmw has done a great drive with the AWD model. It's rear wheel bias off roll.

Bump. Anyone with Fjord Blue interior on TR exterior?.... I hear the "I hope not" or "gross" - but if nobody has posted, can't knock it yet.

I went back and forth on this but I settled on Silverstone for my G83. I think I would have done it if I were getting the coupe since the contrast would not be as obvious as with the top down.

I find TR such a frustrating colour to photograph. It looks at its best when the sun is bouncing of it but in photos taken in that moment it looks totally blown out and you lose quite a bit of the lines and definition.

Still love my TR tho.

Check it out here. Not a good combo IMO.

Toronto over Tartufo, Silverstone, or Fiona (seen this too) all look great!

Good find. Thanks, that looks like the Yas Marina interior - but unfortunately, I agree. Blue doesn't look great.

True, but gives you some glimpse into it. IMO I prefer Yas blue over Fjord.

I love how rich a colour TR is. It really does 'zing' in the sunshine.

We all have our likes and dislikes when it comes to colour but having read (on here) that TR is too bland or too orange just isnt right at all its neither of those. I love the colour as it can be red or red/orange depending on the light.

This colour wasnt even in my top 3 pre-purchase colours as 'red' just didnt appeal and to me from the photos id seen as it was just plain old red but having seen TR in the flesh against the carbon exterior details and the black side skirts works fantastically well. Its a beautiful colour, bright but too bright. It shows off the lines and curves without being too showy. There isnt another colour Id have over TR, which in the face of my original top 3 of IOMG, OG and PB is saying something.

TR is one of those shades that gives off 'sports car' vibes whilst standing still when coupled with the wheels and black/carbon details.

It gets my vote everytime.

Happy TR customer!

First post

Hey guys my first post on here…Just ordered my manual M4 TR on black, 826M bicolour, the posts on here really helped me pick what I wanted, thanks to everyone who posted. I was contemplating doing FR or Silverstone but stuck with black standard seats (I tried the buckets at my dealer and they weren’t as comfortable). Can’t wait, the M4’s design kinda reminds me of my 2006 6er when I look at it from certain angles.
