I just got my first ticket after 6 months. Five days later the same cop on the same street pulled me over again! Let me off the second time. OPP in Bolton

Unfortunately this is why I'm likely going to be rocking an ugly front plate. It's not the fine but the inconvenience.

I'm around Bolton a lot as well since we built an industrial park at George Bolton and Coleraine.

A friend of mine told me that no front plate is a "moving violation" therefore can affect insurance rates. Not sure how true that is, but if that's the case, it's definitely more than the $110 fine. Which I would've been okay with, but insurance is unpredictable..

It's not a moving violation. That's why it's only $110 for a ticket. However, some (maybe not all) insurance companies seem to be using these kind of tickets to affect insurance premiums (my insurance company said if it's on 3 infractions they "can" start to raise rates).

I may once I replace the grille. For now at least with a tinted cover, it doesn't look terrible.

When I got my 2022 M4...I did not know that the dealership had to drill holes in your front grills in order to install the license plate holder.
When I picked up my 2024 M4...I noticed there is no plate holder in the front...I asked them why and they said...do you want us to drill hole in the front grill for it.
I was on pin and needle driving around without a front license plate at first. Did some quick google and found a side mount kit from a local store. The DIY kit is easy and don't look bad.
