My CA got this email back from BMW in trying to schedule my PCD....

"Thank you for submitting your recent Performance Center Delivery reservation for xxx. Unfortunately, we have recently seen extended delays in shipment for vehicles that are shipping from Europe and for that reason we cannot offer a delivery date at this time. Please inform your customer that we will contact you with a delivery date once the vehicle is produced and has been assigned an ETA for arrival to the U.S. port.

Thank you for your patience!"

When was your production to begin? I'm waiting to hear back about dates for PCD at end of July. My production slated for mid May

My car finished Monday and is sitting at the Port.

Mine has been sitting at the port since the 24th which makes a mid-April delivery I was told about pretty unlikely.

Are discounts out of the question here? Some of us paid "extra" for an early allocation and delivery compared to just waiting a month or two for the usual 3% or 6%+ discounts.

I doubt the dealer is going to give you any more money back because shipping companies are being delayed in getting the cars here but you don't get what you don't ask for so can't hurt to ask I guess.
